Milap joined Clearspring Capital Partners as a Principal in 2018 and is involved in all aspects of the investment process and portfolio management. He is currently a Board Director and the lead asset manager of Regal Confections and Voyages Traditours, and has more than sixteen years of principal investing, advisory, and operational experience across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Clearspring, Milap was a senior leader within the strategy & corporate development group at Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC), where he worked closely with the executive team across CTC’s ~$15B family of companies (including Canadian Tire Retail, Sport Chek, Mark’s, Gas+, Canadian Tire Bank, and CT REIT). Prior to that, he worked in management consulting at Bain & Company where he focused on growth strategy, operational improvement, and commercial due diligence engagements within Bain's North American Private Equity Group. In addition, Milap’s experience includes six years in private equity and mergers & acquisitions at Birch Hill Equity Partners and CIBC World Markets, respectively. Milap received his HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, BESc (Electrical Engineering) from Western University, and MBA from INSEAD.
