Ingrid Mazul is a Co-Founder and Partner of ClearPoint and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm's activities. Throughout her private equity career, she has led all aspects of the investment process including deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction negotiation and financing, portfolio company oversight, and exits. She has actively served on the Board of Directors of numerous portfolio companies. Prior to founding ClearPoint, Ingrid was a Principal at H.I.G. Capital where she executed and managed buyouts of lower middle-market companies. Before H.I.G. Capital, Ingrid was a Principal at J.P. Morgan Partners responsible for investments in financial services. Previously, she led investments in business services and financial processing and technology for LabMorgan. Earlier at J.P. Morgan, she was the equity research analyst for the electricity sector in Latin America. Ingrid began her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a bank examiner. Ingrid earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, Cum Laude.
