Steve’s approach is simple: look for companies with untapped potential and match them with demonstrated leaders. He uses his broad experience in building consumer and industrial brands to help the leaders within CID’s portfolio shape the strategies needed to deliver the next phase of growth. And along the way he looks for resources to motivate and inspire the teams he works with. When not on the search for big-market investment opportunities, Steve leads CID’s recruiting activities. He is always open for a conversation with thoughtful, high-initiative leaders looking to continue their careers in private equity. Steve focuses on building strong consumer and industrial brands. He represents CID on the boards of Classic Accessories, Giftcraft, Fit & Fresh, and ABC Industries. He particularly enjoys working with the CEO’s of lower-middle market businesses in setting and executing strategies for growth. Previously, Steve was a member of the Home Care finance team at Procter & Gamble, where he helped lead the growth of the U.S. laundry and cleaning products business. Steve holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA from DePauw University.
