Bio

As CPF’s in-house counsel, Sam coordinates legal aspects of transactions, litigation and regulatory compliance for CPF and its portfolio. Prior to this position, Sam represented clients throughout the country for both national and boutique law firms. His varied background provides him with invaluable insight as he advises on risks, resolutions and efficiencies. Sam began his legal career as a prosecutor and was also a candidate for the Illinois General Assembly. He holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from the University of Illinois.
