Bio

Mr. Brooks is a Senior Managing Director on the Private Equity team. In his role, he oversees private equity investments in companies across North America and Europe with a focus on the healthcare industry. Mr. Brooks serves on the Board of Directors for various Cerberus portfolio companies, including Lighthouse Autism Center, National Dentex, Staples Solutions, and Worldwide Flight Services. Mr. Brooks joined Cerberus in 2004 and is currently based in New York. From 2014 through 2021, Mr. Brooks was in London where he was responsible for driving the expansion of Cerberus’ private equity strategy in Europe. Mr. Brooks began his career in investment banking roles at Morgan Stanley and Houlihan Lokey, and was also a senior investment professional at The Gores Group, where he focused on private equity and restructuring situations. Mr. Brooks graduated with distinction from the University of Southern California.
