Bio

Tyler joined Centerfield in 2021. He is responsible for accounting, audit, tax, treasury, portfolio valuation, and financial reporting activities of the firm, and serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Tyler also assists with investment monitoring and investor relations. Tyler has spent his entire career in financial services. Prior to Centerfield, Tyler served as Vice President of Finance at NXT Capital in Chicago, a middle-market direct lender and asset manager. His responsibilities included financial reporting and FP&A functions of the firm. Prior to NXT, Tyler was a 2nd Vice President at Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services (formerly Omnium, LLC) in Chicago where he worked in the Financial Control group, specializing in fund accounting for complex hedge funds. Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife, Mallory, and their two children (a daughter and a son). When the opportunity arises, he enjoys making trips down to Bloomington to cheer on his alma mater (Go Hoosiers!) and also enjoys daydreaming about improving his golf game.
