Richard joined Centerbridge in 2008 and is a portfolio manager for the Firm’s global credit investing activities and leads the Firm’s trading activities. Prior to joining Centerbridge, Richard was responsible for all trading activity at Silver Point Capital, L.P. from that firm’s inception in 2001. Prior to joining Silver Point, Richard was an Associate at Goldman Sachs, where he spent time in both the United States and European distressed trading businesses. He began his career as an Investment Analyst in the Taxable Investment Grade Group at Putnam Investments, where he was employed from 1992 through 1996.
