Kim joined Centerbridge in 2011 and oversees the Firm’s accounting, tax, operations and investor services functions for the credit, corporate and general partner accounting teams. Prior to joining Centerbridge, Kim was a Managing Director and the Chief Accounting Officer for Plainfield Asset Management LLC’s credit funds from 2005 through 2010 and the Chief Financial Officer for the investment adviser in 2010. During her tenure at Plainfield, she was responsible for all aspects of accounting, audit, internal controls and financial reporting for the company’s distressed and special situation funds as well as the management company. Prior to Plainfield, Kim was the Controller at Forest Investment Management LLC, a credit firm which managed several convertible arbitrage, relative value and event strategy funds from 1996 to 2005.
