Tom Davis joined Centana in 2017 as a Principal on the investment team. Tom has spent over 10 years investing in both financial technology and software companies, and he currently serves as a board observer at Centana portfolio companies Ease and Sentieo. Prior to Centana, Tom spent 9 years at General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity investment firm with $35 billion in assets under management, where he focused on investments in the financial services sector. During this time, Tom was a key member of the team that led General Atlantic’s investment in First Republic Bank. He also worked closely with the firm’s investment in Mu Sigma. Tom graduated with a B.A. in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College. He also holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He began his career as a financial institution investment banker at Morgan Stanley in New York City, where he focused on banks, asset managers, and specialty finance companies.
