Blake Cummings, a Principal and Investment Committee Member at Caymus Equity, has nearly eleven years of private equity investing, investment banking, and corporate development experience, seven of which have been spent as a member of the Caymus Equity investment team. Blake is active in all aspects of the firm’s activities, with a focus on leading the evaluation and selection of new investment opportunities, structuring and executing transactions and assisting with the strategic and operational management of portfolio companies. Blake has led the investment execution for six platform investments, and is significantly involved in the management of each of Caymus Equity’s platform investments consisting of close work with portfolio investment executives. Prior to Caymus Equity, Blake worked on the M&A team at Consolidated Container Company, a portfolio company of Bain Capital, where he was responsible for acquiring and integrating target companies, establishing joint ventures, and executing the company’s growth strategies. Previously, Blake was a Senior Analyst at Founders Advisors, a boutique investment banking firm.
