Bio

Siqi (Alick) is a Partner at Cathay Capital and is based in the Shanghai Office. Prior to Cathay, he worked at China Development Bank (CDB) for over 12 years, first as the Deputy Director and Deputy Division Chief of the Client Division in the Shenzhen Branch, and most recently as Acting Chief Commissioner of the Nordic Office. He has extensive experience in complex overseas financing activities (executing over US $7B, including acquisition financing, project financing and export credit financing) as well as domestic lending for the bank’s key clients. During his time at the Nordic office, he built strategic relationships with Nordic enterprises (Volvo, Maersk, Ericsson) to promote outbound investment to China, expanding and coordinating inbound investments by Chinese enterprises into the Nordic region. He is also the initiator of China Sweden Technology and Innovation Fund. Alick received his Master's Degree in Finance from Zhejiang University and Bachelor Degree from Xiamen University.
