Bio

Ricky is an Investment Director on the Cathay Capital Private Equity team based in New York. He joined Cathay in 2020 and primarily focuses on healthcare and life sciences investments in North America. Prior to joining Cathay, Ricky was the Vice President of Operations for Refresh Mental Health, a national multi-unit mental health platform formed and backed by PE firm Lindsay Goldberg. Prior to this, he spent 5 years at Wexford Capital, an opportunistic public and private investment firm, where he executed and monitored control buyouts and growth equity investments across industry verticals. Ricky began his career within Citigroup’s investment banking division in New York. He graduated from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with a BBA in Finance and Accounting (with high distinction). He also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was a Zell Fellow.
