Bio

Mr. Bolstad has a wide range of management experience ranging from positions in telecom, food and banking industries throughout Europe. He has also worked several years as an independent consultant. Prior to joining Catalyst, Mr. Bolstad served as Executive Vice President with Xantic in the Netherlands where he was responsible for land based satellite and broadcasting activities. Prior to his work at Xantic, Mr. Bolstad was Country Manager for Telenor Austria, overseeing the Telenor Group’s mobile, internet and satellite investments in the country. Mr Bolstad has also served as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for Telenor Satellite Services in Norway, one of the world’s largest providers of satellite maritime services and a major satellite broadcaster in Scandinavia. He has also served as a Chairman of the Board for numerous Telenor subsidiaries throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Bolstad was a Financial Controller in the Kraft General Foods Group and an analyst with Midland Montagu and Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Bolstad holds a Master of the Arts in Business and Economics as well as an Engineering degree. Mr. Bolstad also studied at the Norwegian Air Officer Training School.
