Mr. MacDonald is a Vice President of Carnelian Energy Capital Management, L.P., where he focuses on transaction due diligence, analytics and execution, and monitoring active portfolio investments. Prior to joining Carnelian, Mr. MacDonald was a Director at Värde Partners. Mr. MacDonald also previously served as an Associate at Avista Capital Partners and an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Mr. MacDonald grew up in Wheelersburg, Ohio, and received a B.A. in Political Science with the highest honors from Vanderbilt University. Mr. MacDonald is a CFA charter holder.
