Alexander Rasnavad is a Managing Director and the Chief Commercial Officer of Carlyle Aviation Partners. Mr. Rasnavad joined Carlyle Aviation Partners in October 2021 and is based in Miami, Florida. From 2017 to 2021, he was Chief Strategy Officer of DAE Capital, a $15b+ global aircraft lessor, where he led the team that initiated and managed the firm’s overall portfolio strategy, aircraft trading and OEM activity, as well as its aircraft ABS and third-party investor business. Prior to that, Mr. Rasnavad held senior positions at AWAS and SkyWorks Capital. Throughout his career, Mr. Rasnavad has led the acquisition, divestment, and financing of multiple billions of dollars of aircraft across speculative aircraft orders, sale-leasebacks, secondary market trading, ABS debt/equity financing and M&A transactions. Mr. Rasnavad has worked around the globe with extended periods in the U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore and Ireland.
