As a Partner at Carlson Private Capital, Taylor Moore is responsible for the firm’s investment portfolio, new investment selection and execution of the firm’s strategy. Taylor and Andy Cantwell launched the Carlson Private Capital platform for the Carlson family in late 2018. He has spent nearly twenty years as an investor and advisor in the private markets; primarily focused on private equity and family capital investing. Prior to Carlson Private Capital, Taylor was Principal at Norwest Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm headquartered in Minneapolis that has raised over $7.0 billion in capital. While at NEP, Taylor was involved in the oversight of investments across a diverse set of industries including consumer, distribution, agriculture and tech-enabled services. Prior to NEP, Taylor worked in investment banking at Piper Jaffray & Co. and Morgan Keegan. Taylor graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University and received his M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management as an F.C. Austin Scholar at Northwestern University.
