Bio

Chengpeng Mou is a partner at CapitalG focused on fintech. Since joining CapitalG in 2017, he has played a leadership role across sectors including crypto, consumer internet, gaming, and Asia. He helped lead investments in Fireblocks, Niantic, Digital Currency Group, Cloud Light, and Full Truck Alliance and has worked with additional portfolio companies including Robinhood, Innolight, Credit Karma, and Practo. He sits on the Board of Directors at Cloud Light and Cuemath and is a Board observer at Niantic, Thumbtack, and CarDekho. Prior to joining CapitalG in 2017, Chengpeng worked at HGGC and focused on private equity investments in technology companies. Chengpeng graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Mathematics from Washington and Lee University, and he earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
