Bio

Alex is a Vice President on the investment team focused on marketplace and software companies, especially those scaling via product-led growth and network effects. He played a leadership role in CapitalG’s investments in Coupa, Curated, Duolingo, Stripe, TeamSystem, UiPath, Unqork, Webflow, and Whatnot. Before joining CapitalG in 2018, Alex worked at Goldman Sachs on the technology investment banking team in San Francisco. Alex graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Economics. In his free time, he loves to read, cook, and spend as much time as possible outdoors in the gorgeous Bay Area weather. He especially enjoys hiking, skiing, and tennis.
