Guilherme Lins Bio

Guilherme Lins is a Managing Partner of Capital Group Private Markets with primary responsibility in Latin America, focusing on Brazil and Africa. He has been a member of the Investment Committee/Portfolio Management Committee since 2010. Prior to joining the Private Markets team in 2000, Guilherme worked at JPMorgan, in the Latin American mergers & acquisitions group in New York and São Paulo, and covering JPMorgan's clients in Brazil. Before that, Guilherme worked at the Matuschka Group in Paris and Munich in the firm's corporate finance department. Guilherme received a BSc in chemical engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and a management degree from École des Hautes Études Commerciales-HEC in Paris. Guilherme has served on the board of several portfolio companies including Abril S.A., Arcos Dorados, Magazine Luiza, Grupo Ibmec, and STP. He currently serves on the board of Burger King Brasil and Constellation.
