Bio

Jean-Marc Jabre co-founded capital D and brings experience in private equity, corporate finance and debt restructuring. He started his investing career in 2000 with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners in Menlo Park focusing on early-stage healthcare and technology. In his last role prior to capital D, he was head of Europe for Morgan Stanley Private Equity, a $1.5bn fund focused on growth and buyout investing. His early years in finance include investment banking with Morgan Stanley in New York followed by debt restructuring in London, where he helped establish Morgan Stanley’s advisory business in EMEA. Jean-Marc speaks Arabic, English, French and Spanish, and has an M.B.A. from INSEAD, a Masters of Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University. In his spare time, he serves as board member of LIFE.
