Bio

Daryl joined capital D in 2019 bringing 16 years’ investing experience. After starting his career at Goldman Sachs in leveraged finance, he joined Stephan at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst. He subsequently worked at Silver Point Capital, Vision Capital and Inflexion Private Equity. Through his work he has built significant experience in equity and credit investing across a wide range of industries. Career highlights include successful investments in Burton’s Biscuits, Wagamama, Weetabix, Mood Media Group, Bormioli and Nordax. Daryl holds an M.A. in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. In his spare time, he works as a NED at a tech start-up, and enjoys travelling and looking after his young family.
