After completing her MB BCH at WITS University and qualifying as a medical doctor, Yoza began her career in Forensic Psychiatry in the UK. Yoza then returned to South Africa to complete her MBA at Wits University and embark on a new career path. Yoza has some 11 years of investment banking experience with specific expertise in acquisition and leverage finance, mezzanine/subordinated finance, preference share funding, credit risk management, quasi-equity and private equity investing across a wide variety of sectors. Although her investment banking experience has spanned across a broad spectrum of client industries; her early experience in the medical field has equipped her with a deep understanding of the healthcare and pharma sectors. Yoza joins Coast2Coast from Nedbank Capital where she was employed for over 6 years as a Principal in Acquisition and Leverage Finance and where she worked on Nedbank’s funding of both ASC and Bounty Brands. Yoza is also a non-executive director at Northam Platinum.
