Bio

Robert Jaunich II is a Founding Partner of Calera Capital. Mr. Jaunich has a long career of domestic and international operating and investing experience across a broad range of industries. Prior to founding Calera Capital and leading its predecessor, Fremont Partners, since 1991, he was a member of the Chief Executive Office of Swiss-based Jacobs Suchard AG, President of Osborne Computer Corporation, President of Sara Lee Corporation, and Executive Vice President of Memorex Corporation. He began his career with Procter & Gamble. Mr. Jaunich also has substantial board-level experience in both publicly-traded and privately-held corporations. This includes chairmanships at Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE) and Juno Lighting, Inc. (NASDAQ), and Board memberships at Con-way, Inc. (NYSE), Sara Lee Corporation (NYSE), and Crown Pacific (NYSE). Additionally, he has chaired several privately-held companies, including Coldwell Banker, Kerr Group, Software Architects, Douwe Egberts (Europe), Nabob Foods (Canada), and Tapco International. Mr. Jaunich currently serves on the board of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (past Chair), is a member of the President’s Advisory Board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, and is a trustee at the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation. He is a life member of the World Presidents' Organization, following his years in the Young Presidents' Organization. Mr. Jaunich received a B.A. from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served for five years on the Graduate School Advisory Board.
