Bio

Jean-Luc Biamonti founded Calcium Capital on the basis of his experience in finance and his knowledge of business development issues. He was a former investment banker at Goldman Sachs Bank, where he held various positions for 16 years. As Partner of the firm, he was responsible for the bank's activity in France as well as covering the distribution and consumer products sector in Europe. In this context, he has advised the managers of a large number of companies, accompanying them on financing transactions, acquisition, sale, IPO, and in their strategic thinking. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Jean-Luc was a senior executive at Clinvest, Wasserstein Perella, of which he was a founding partner, and First Boston Corporation. He began his career with the Bank of Paris and the Netherlands, and was responsible for mergers and acquisitions for the Nestlé Group. Jean-Luc has been on the Board of Directors of the Monaco Sea Bath Company since 1985 and Chairman of the Board of Directors since 1995. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Covivio (formerly Foncière des Régions) and is a graduate of ESSEC and Columbia Business School.
