Matt joined Cairngorm Capital in 2022 as Managing Director based in our Edinburgh office. He serves on the Investment Committee and leads Cairngorm Capital’s Sustainability investment theme, which includes investments consistent with the transition to net zero. Matt brings broad experience to Cairngorm Capital having spent over two decades in the energy industry, including 13 years of growth capital investing in the UK, Europe, USA, and Canada. He was previously a Senior Partner with EV Private Equity. Earlier in his career Matt worked at Simmons & Co; Booz. Allen; Wood Mackenzie; and Schlumberger. Outside the office Matt is a keen skier and cyclist. MBA London Business School and MEng Imperial College London.
