Mr. Caffery founded Caffery Capital Partners in 2002 to invest in and acquire middle-market companies in partnership with successful entrepreneurs and management teams. During his decades of private equity investing, he has been a principal investor and has participated in the acquisition of more than 50 manufacturing, distribution, and services companies. Prior to founding Caffery Capital Partners, he was a partner at Jordan Industries and The Jordan Company, a private equity firm based in Chicago and New York. He joined Jordan Industries one year after its inception in 1989 and played key roles in sourcing, structuring, negotiating, closing, and monitoring dozens of private equity transactions. During his time with Jordan he served on the boards of several companies, and continues to serve on the board of directors of Jordan Automotive Aftermarket, Inc. Prior to joining Jordan, Mr. Caffery worked in sales and marketing for Scientific Products-Industrial, a division of American Hospital Supply, Inc., from 1984 to 1989. Prior to that, he worked for ABN/LaSalle National Bank in Chicago as a commercial lender calling on middle-market companies. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance.
