Bio

Kyle is a Managing Director of BW Forsyth Partners, which he co-founded in 2009 as Forsyth Capital Investors, the investment arm of multi-billion dollar global manufacturing and engineering consulting firm Barry-Wehmiller. In addition to pursuing new platforms for growth, Kyle serves as Chairman of two of BW Forsyth Partners’ operating companies, Baldwin Technology, Inc., and Engle Martin & Associates, Inc. Prior to founding Forsyth Capital Investors, Kyle served as Director of Business Development for Swett & Crawford, a private equity-owned property and casualty wholesale insurance intermediary. Before his tenure with Swett & Crawford, Kyle was with Banc of America Capital Investors (now Ridgemont Equity Partners), a Charlotte, N.C.-based private equity fund with more than $2.0 billion under management, where he completed ~$325 million in transactions across a broad group of industries, including industrials and insurance services. When outside of the office, Kyle spends his time with his wonderful wife, Carrie, and their four active kids, Will, Hall, Katy, and Gray. Not one to sit idly on the sidelines, Kyle thoroughly enjoys coaching his kids on their basketball and baseball teams. Additionally, Kyle is a co-founder and serves on the Board of Gateway Children’s Charity, a local non-profit that raises capital for projects benefitting underprivileged children in the city of St. Louis. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Board for KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) St. Louis, a national network of open-enrollment, college-preparatory public charter schools with a track record of preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life.
