Adam Waglay is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Butterfly. Mr. Waglay has over 15 years of investing and operating experience with a primary focus on the food sector, and is responsible for deal origination, transaction execution, portfolio management and overall leadership of Butterfly. Prior to founding Butterfly, Mr. Waglay was a senior member of KKR’s Consumer Retail Private Equity team, where he had worked from 2007 to 2016 with a primary focus on the food sector. During this time, he was actively involved in several transactions, including Dollar General, Academy Sports + Outdoors, National Vision and Lemonade. Prior to joining KKR in 2007, Mr. Waglay worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. where he was part of the Consumer Retail Investment Banking team with a primary focus on the food sector. Mr. Waglay graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce.
