Bio

Pete is a Partner and the Head of Finance at Building Industry Partners, where he focuses on the firm’s financial and organizational strategy, as well as analyzes new investments opportunities. Pete is a serial entrepreneur and advisor across industries. His expertise is in operations, technology, finance and accounting. His interest in the building industry began when he and Matt Ogden met in 2017 and they shared extensive ideas about industry innovation. Pete subsequently consulted for a BIP portfolio company, optimizing its sales and marketing processes, and operating and financial systems. In 2008, Pete co-founded Pursuit Solutions, an operations and analytics firm serving the commercial side of the pharmaceutical industry. His initial role was Head of Strategy & Analytics, building the teams and capabilities to serve companies including Sanofi, GSK, and Novartis. He then became the company’s CFO, and led its sale to IMS Health in 2016. Shortly thereafter, IMS and Quintiles announced their planned merger and Pete served as IMS’s M&A strategic lead on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) division of the business. Pete was also one of the early hires at e-Dialog, a venture-backed CRM SaaS startup, where he led their largest book of business and launched their expansion into Europe. e-Dialog sold to GSI Commerce in 2006, which was subsequently acquired by eBay. He is an advisor to Corverix, a cardiology health technology startup, and LiteBoxx, a product management consultancy. Pete holds a BA in Biology from Williams College and an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He continues to mentor students at Babson, and serves on the graduate school’s Technology, Operations, and Information Management Advisory Board.
