Tim Scallen is Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner at Bailey & Company. He leads the firm’s Principal Investing business in addition to overseeing the operations of the entire platform. He has more than 14 years of private equity, operating, and investing experience, transacting across a range of asset classes from late-stage leveraged buyouts to early-stage growth equity. With considerable depth and expertise in the healthcare technology and tech-enabled services market segments, Tim has worked on a broad set of M&A transactions, including debt and equity capital raises. Over his career, he has partnered with management teams in a variety of capacities including as an investor, board member, and advisor. Prior to joining Bailey & Company in 2020, Tim worked at several leading private equity firms, including TT Capital Partners, Norwest Equity Partners, and Sankaty Advisors (now known as Bain Capital Credit). Tim graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Tim and his wife live in Nashville. He enjoys outdoor sports, boating, and Notre Dame football.
