Eva Hoffman joined Bruin Sports Capital in March 2015 as Director of Corporate Development and Planning. Hoffman is responsible for Bruin’s marketing and social responsibility platform in addition to special event and hospitality planning. Hoffman brings over 20 years of marketing experience to Bruin Sports Capital. Most recently, she was the marketing strategist for the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center, where former C.E.O. Brett Yormark recruited her for her expertise in developing business strategies. Hoffman was also part of the team responsible for the move and rebrand of the Nets and opening of the state-of-the-art arena. Additionally, she developed, launched, and managed the Brooklyn Nets rewards program. Previously, she developed and implemented a new strategic direction for the Nets marketing department, which included over 100 corporate sponsors. Hoffman honed her marketing expertise at NASCAR and the N.H.L., where she worked with Fortune 500 companies leveraging their relationship with each property. At NASCAR, in addition to working with the company’s top partners to manage and maximize their partnerships, she oversaw corporate event hospitality, including the NASCAR sponsor summit and business to business platform. Hoffman was also responsible for strategic growth for all NASCAR partners, leveraging the company’s multi-platform business to develop unique activation platforms and integration opportunities to help grow sponsor revenues. Hoffman has a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
