Richard has twenty years of global B2B P&L experience across three PE-sponsored middle-market manufacturing companies. At each, Richard leveraged his leadership, strategy development and analytic skills to support investors and coach management teams to build profitable, high growth businesses with sustainable competitive advantage. Previously, Richard was CEO of Micross Components, a supplier of high reliability microelectronic components and an Insight Equity operating company. Initially a turnaround in 2013, Richard capitalized on the company’s customer-focused culture to assemble a unique portfolio of component packaging capabilities combining both organic growth and the integration of five acquisitions. This expansion of Micross’ technological competence positioned the company for a successful sale to a strategic PE buyer in March 2020. Richard holds a BA in Law from Pembroke College, Cambridge in the UK, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
