Jodi Kahn is a Partner of Broad Sky Partners and leads the firm’s Portfolio Resources Group. Prior to Broad Sky, Jodi founded JGK Ventures Consulting, a strategy, product development and digital commerce advisory firm, where she has led numerous client engagements for private equity, venture backed and private companies in the Consumer and Services industries. Jodi also served as an Operating Advisor to The Carlyle Group’s middle market fund, Carlyle U.S. Equity Opportunity Fund, where she brought her experience in sales, marketing, and digital enablement to a number of its portfolio companies. Prior to JGK Ventures, Jodi served as the Chief Consumer Officer at FreshDirect, and previously had been President and EVP of iVillage, a division of NBCUniversal, as well as President, Global Digital Media at Reader’s Digest Association. Jodi also held various senior level positions at Time Inc./Time Warner during a tenure spanning 14 years. Jodi currently serves on the boards of Southeastern Grocers, Claritas, and Water.org (a global social impact non-profit). Jodi also has held board and advisory roles with Mood Media, Brandless.com, Edible Media, MidOcean Partners, Venture for America. Throughout her career, Jodi has held a strong belief in giving back and expanding opportunities through corporate social outreach programs and her personal board involvement. Jodi earned a B.A. in Psychology from the SUNY Albany.
