Shauna Lukaitis joined BCI over 20 years ago. Over the duration of her career at BCI, Shauna has held the positions of equity trader, project manager, and senior vice president, investment operations. With $211.1 billion of managed assets as of March 31, 2022, BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors within the global capital markets. As chief operating officer, Shauna is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction for BCI’s operations group, which includes corporate operations, corporate risk & audit, finance, investment operations, legal affairs, and technology. She oversees the inter-connectivity, relationships, and operating model required to enable BCI’s global operations. Shauna is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and holds a diploma in business administration from Camosun College, Victoria, British Columbia. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Chief Compliance Officer Qualifying Examination through the Canadian Securities Institute. She serves on the board of directors for the QuadReal Property Group.
