Usman Rabbani is a Partner at Brighton Park Capital and member of the Investment Committee and Portfolio Committee. Prior to joining Brighton Park Capital, Usman was a Managing Director at KKR, a global investment firm with over $400 billion in assets under management. At KKR, he managed diligence for the firm’s investments in software and technology related businesses and he built and led the portfolio operations group responsible for value creation in KKR’s technology-related investments globally. During this time, he also served as a member of the Board of Directors for Epicor Software, among other board leadership and advisory roles. Prior to KKR, Mr. Rabbani was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he supported enterprise software and technology clients on growth, M&A and operational efficiency. He also served clients on technology modernization and adoption across sectors including healthcare, retail, hospitality, agriculture, and others. Before this, Usman spent nearly a decade in hands-on software engineering and operational roles as the founder and CTO of a cloud video surveillance platform, an enterprise IT architect at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, a tech team lead at Scient and a software developer at Massachusetts General Hospital. Usman received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Computer Science from Harvard University, and graduated from Yale University with a BA in Computer Science and Psychology.
