Dame Carolyn is a Non-Executive Director of Bridgepoint’s Group Board. A seasoned Chief Executive with a strong track record in value creation and business transformation, Dame Carolyn is currently Chief Executive of ITV plc having previously been Chief Executive of easyJet. She also held various commercial and management roles at the Guardian Media Group, including CEO of the Guardian and Observer before becoming Group CEO in 2006. In 2016, Carolyn was awarded a Damehood for services to the aviation industry having received an OBE in 2008 for services to women in business. She has received the Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year Award and has been named the most admired leader by Management Today three times, the only person to have won the award for two separate companies.
