Bio

Cyrus is a Non-Executive Director of Bridgepoint’s Group Board. Cyrus was President and Chief Executive Officer at State Street Global Advisers from 2017 to 2022. Prior to his joining State Street, Cyrus held numerous leadership roles in asset management including at Fidelity, BNY Mellon, Legg Mason and Citigroup. Earlier in his career, Cyrus was a partner as McKinsey & Company, based in New York and Copenhagen. Cyrus was a founding member of the New York Stock Exchange Board Advisory Council, which proactively addresses the critical need for inclusive leadership on corporate boards by connecting diverse candidates with companies seeking new directors. He serves as a Board member of the Trustees of Reservations, a Massachusetts-based non-profit conservation organisation, and has chaired the investment committee of the trustees for seven years. Cyrus previously served as a trustee on the WK Kellogg Foundation Trust, one of the world's largest endowments and foundations. In March 2023, he joined the Board of Shell.
