Michael C. Howley is the Managing Partner of Bratenahl Capital Partners. Prior to Bratenahl, Mike worked in the private equity and investment banking industries for several years. Previously, he was a transactor at The Riverside Company, a private equity firm in Cleveland and New York City, with approximately $8 billion of assets under management and over 560 acquisitions. Before his employment at The Riverside Company, Mike worked in the Leveraged Finance investment banking group at Credit Suisse in New York City. He was actively involved in over $2 billion of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, restructurings, financings, and mergers & acquisitions for both corporate and financial sponsors. He began his career in Finance at National City Bank (now PNC), in the Capital Markets and Equity Sponsor areas. Mike serves on the board of directors of numerous Bratenahl investments, including: MicroGroup and Hunt Valve. In addition, he is a Trustee of Gilmour Academy and Saint Martin De Porres High School. He is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance. Mike currently lives in Gates Mills, OH with his wife Kendra and four kids.
