Mr. Szewczyk is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of BP Energy Partners (BPEP) and its affiliates. He is based in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Szewczyk is focused on co-managing the investment activities of BPEP and its affiliates, including deal sourcing and evaluation, structuring, transaction execution and setting strategic direction for BP Energy Partners and its affiliated investment entities. Prior to the formation of BPEP in 2013, Mr. Szewczyk served as Co-Manager of BP Capital's Equity Fund and was a member of BP Capital's Investment Committee for 13 years. He was responsible for managing energy related investments for Boone Pickens and BP Capital. Mr. Szewczyk received a B.A. in economics from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York and an M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Szewczyk serves on the board of directors of Mesa Natural Gas Solutions, a leader in cleaner distributed power and microgrid technologies; Sapphire Gas Solutions, an energy transition business focused on natural gas virtual pipeline opportunities; Sphere Energy Corp, an Oil and Gas producer in Western Canada; Gateway Water Solutions, a water management services company for energy companies; and Encino Environmental Services, an environmental consulting firm for emissions testing, leak detection and repair and continuous emission monitoring systems.
