Bio

Michiel is a partner at Bolster. After starting as an intern in 2006 Michiel continued to work for Van Lanschot Participaties while studying for his second degree. After graduating he entered full-time employment with Van Lanschot Kempen, where he was involved in shaping the investment policy which is still pursued by Bolster today. In addition to financial expertise Michiel brings knowledge of legal and tax matters to the team. “I take great satisfaction from working with entrepreneurs and the diversity it brings, in terms of both substance and approach. It challenges us to switch constantly in order to meet the various needs.” Michiel studied Economics (Masters in Business Management) at Utrecht University and Tax Law (Masters in International & European Tax Law) at the University of Amsterdam.
