Bio

Mr. Madsen is a Managing Director at Blue Wolf Capital where he leads the firm’s business development and origination efforts. He joined Blue Wolf from Monomoy Capital, an operationally-focused private equity firm, where he was Director of Business Development & Capital Markets. Mr. Madsen seeded and led the business development function at Monomoy with a focus on sourcing new investment opportunities from intermediaries, family owners and corporations. Prior to Monomoy, Mr. Madsen worked at Intralinks Dealnexus, an online deal sourcing and deal marketing platform, where he was Manager of Global Business Development & Origination. He started his career in primary investment research at Gerson Lehrman Group and Coleman Research Group with a focus on supporting private equity and private credit clients in the US & London as well as working with executives and experts in the Energy & Industrial sectors. Mr. Madsen is a member of the PE/IB Committee for ACG New York and graduated from Columbia in 2008 with a double major in History & Italian
