Max Wasserstrom joined Block Real Estate Services, LLC (BRES) in July of 2011 and specializes in the development, leasing, and sales of office properties in the Kansas City market. Recent class A office developments he has been involved with include Pinnacle Corporate Centre V, Nall Corporate Centre II, and 46 Penn Centre. Max was actively involved in the development of build to suit projects for Fresenius Medical Care in Blue Springs, MO and Richmond, MO. Since joining Block in 2011, Max has been involved in transactions totaling nearly 1,000,000 square feet with a value of $175,000,000. He was named commercial real estate rookie of the year by the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors in 2013. Prior to joining BRES, Max worked in corporate finance at Hallmark Cards, Inc. where his duties focused on the North American operations. Max attended the University of Kansas where he graduated with distinction with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Finance and Accounting in 2008. Max was a chair member of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and a member of the finance and real estate clubs. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in July of 2012 and is a member of both the CFA Institute and the Kansas City Society of Financial Analysts. Max continues to further his education as he pursues his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and is a member of the board for Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors. Max lives in Prairie Village, KS with his wife Katie and daughter Olivia.
