David Hartman joined Blackstreet Capital in December, 2009. Prior to joining Blackstreet Capital, Mr. Hartman served for nearly three years as Chief Financial Officer of Elderlife Financial Services, a venture-stage, healthcare related consumer finance company, which was funded by the private equity arm of a major hedge fund based in New York City. Later, Mr. Hartman led a management team buyout of Elderlife in June, 2009. Mr. Hartman has over 25 years experience in commercial banking, asset based lending, leveraged finance, loan originations and syndications, merchant banking, work-outs, and distressed debt investing. He spent seven years with Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. in New York City and has had single signature credit authority with both Chase and several commercial finance companies. Mr. Hartman was the Credit Supervising Officer and lead workout officer of a $1 billion leveraged finance portfolio for a liquidating commercial finance company based in Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Hartman currently serves on the Board of Directors for Creative Media Group, Inc. and Swisher Acquisition, Inc. Mr. Hartman is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a BS in Finance and MIS.
