Eugene Lee is a Managing Director with Blackstone Credit. He is involved with public and private special situations investing. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Lee worked at Goldman Sachs within the Special Situations Group (SSG), where he was most recently a member of the Multi-Strategy Investing team. In this capacity, Mr. Lee invested in distressed, stressed, and performing credit as well as other opportunistic asset classes across North and South America. During his time with SSG, Mr. Lee also helped found a direct lending team focused on energy opportunities and invested across the renewables sector as part of the Alternative Energy Investing team. Mr. Lee graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. / S.M. in Economics and Applied Mathematics, and also studied violin performance at the New England Conservatory. Mr. Lee serves on the board of directors of Delaware Basin Investment Group and the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra Foundation.
