Loic Fonteneau joined the venture team at BlackFin in 2021 with a focus on later-stage deals and the objective of growing the firm’s presence in the UK. He started his career at J.P. Morgan in 2007 in London in the Financial Institutions MA team, where he was covering large banks, insurers and asset managers. In 2016, he transferred to the Technology MA team at J.P. Morgan to cover the highly growing Tech ecosystem across Europe. Loic has considerable experience helping sophisticated clients execute complex corporate finance transactions, private capital raise and IPOs. Loic also briefly worked as a lead software engineer in Australia after graduating, where he helped launch a cyber-security startup. A dual French-British national, Loic is a graduate of HEC Paris (MSc International Finance) and ESIEE Paris (MSc in Computer Science)
