Jason Runco is a co-founder and Partner of BlackEagle. Jason works with acquiring family-owned businesses, non-core subsidiaries as well as investing in distressed situations. He works closely with management teams to implement profit improvement initiatives at BlackEagle portfolio companies across a range of industries. Jason led the US LBM investment which through organic growth and 40 acquisitions, grew from $150 million in revenue to $1.7 billion in revenue over a six year hold period. He is currently a board member of US LBM Holdings, LLC and Oakland Industries. Prior to BlackEagle, Jason was at Questor Management Company where his investment experience includes aerospace, automotive, oil services, transportation, and business services. He is a frequent speaker on such topics as operations focused investments and is also a guest lecturer at the University of Michigan Business School. Jason holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Business School, JD from the University of Miami Law School and a BA in Finance from the University of Colorado. He and his wife have four children and two mutts and enjoy the outdoors.
