George J. Psomas is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Originations of BHC Capital Partners, and also serves as a member of the Advisor’s Investment Committee. Mr. Psomas is a 30 year veteran of the asset based lending industry, with a long track record of sourcing and closing senior and junior secured loans in the middle market space. Mr. Psomas spent more than half of his career at Congress Financial (later Wachovia Capital Finance) and since 2008 he has served in senior origination roles at RBS Citizens Business Capital, AloStar Business Credit and Ares Commercial Finance. He is also the Founder and President of, Maple Street Advisors, providing advisory services for M&A and capital formation. Mr. Psomas has also held senior roles in the Commercial Finance Association and the Turnaround Management Association. Mr. Psomas earned a BS degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School) and is a holder of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
