Bio

Sam Spirn is a Managing Director and member of the Healthcare team at Berkshire Partners. He is currently involved with Berkshire portfolio companies PurFoods and U.S. Anesthesia Partners. Examples of prior Berkshire portfolio company involvement include Farm Boy, Grocery Outlet, Mattress Firm, Parts Town and Tower Development Corporation. Prior to joining Berkshire in 2009, Sam worked in private equity at Summit Partners. Sam received an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
