Dick’s first contact with Bencis was in 2003 when he worked as a trainee for NeSBIC Buyout Fund, the predecessor of Bencis. He continued his career with the first branch of Standard & Poor’s Valuation Practice to be founded outside America, which felt very much like running his own business within a multinational. After 3 years in this position, he became increasingly interested in a move to private equity and rejoined his first employer in the form of Bencis. Since then, Dick has been involved with companies in a variety of industries. As a (team) sports enthusiast, he enjoys collaborating with executive boards to achieve optimum results. Dick studied Business Economics (University of Groningen) and has attended various courses at INSEAD and AIF.
