Bio

Mr. Clippard is a Managing Director at TBG and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments within business services segments. Mr. Clippard is currently a member of the board of directors of AutoManager Holdings Group, Convenient Brands, and GED Holdings. Prior to joining TBG in 2016, Mr. Clippard was a private equity transaction professional at Prospect Capital Management, a private investment platform with approximately $6.5 billion under management. At Prospect, Mr. Clippard focused on middle market transactions in U.S.-based companies, particularly control investments in the industrial and business services sectors, including payment processing. Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Clippard was a Principal at Circle Peak Capital where he executed private equity transactions in the consumer, financial services, and industrial sectors. Mr. Clippard began his career in equity derivatives at The Goldman Sachs Group and The Bear Stearns Companies. Mr. Clippard received a BA in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Clippard also studied at the London School of Economics.
